David Gilmour is a Master of Sound! Even though he doesn’t have any special guitar or vocal skills, he have an amazing composing talent and a feeling for music. He makes his music full of power and beauty without shredding 300 b.p.m. Solo in the center of Echoes kicks ***. And he wasn’t to Pink Floyd what Slash was to Guns’n'Roses. This is completly different league. I don’t mean Slash is worse than Dave, just we can’t compare them and their contribution to bands where they were playing…
