To all you children arguing about which version is better: grow up. It’s subjective. Enjoy them both and be thankful BOC wrote the song, and Metallica liked it enough to cover it. It’s a win-win situation for us, the fans. If you can’t do that, go listen to some Soulja Boy with the rest of the tards.

That being said, Buck’s solos blow Hammett out of the water. Hes a very underrated guitarist and deserves a lot of credit on this song in particular

I like both versions, they both have different feels to them. Just try to enjoy both for what they are.
